The Husband and I made the trek to the south side of Tulsa Saturday night to visit Duke's Southern Kitchen, located next to the Spirit Bank Event Center.
Duke's is owned by Tim Baker, who also owns two of our Brookside favorites The Brasserie and Sonoma.
We were very happy with Duke's food. We had shrimp & grits, fried green tomatoes, fried catfish and fried chicken. (Notice a theme there?)
The space is visually interesting and since it is multi-level, the opportunities to reserve space for small, medium or large parties are varied.
The staff was all very nice, with a couple of familiar faces from the Brookside restaurants. Todd, Joe and Ryan, who worked the upstairs bar, were extremely entertaining!
