Things Your Burglar Won't Tell You

Our neighborhood has had some recent problems with houses, garages and cars being burgled.

A neighbor found a list of "21 Things Your Burglar Won't Tell You" in a local newspaper and brought me a copy.

Most were things we've heard before, but a few caught my attention:

1) I might leave a pizza flyer in your front door to see how long it takes you to remove it.

2) If it snows while you are out of town, have your neighbor create car and foot tracks into the house. Virgin drifts in the driveway are a dead giveaway no one is home.

I would not have thought of either of these items, especially the snow item.

  1. I'd like to chase one of those little bastards with a baseball bat.
