The recipe is found on pages 164-165 of the Pioneer Woman's cookbook.
The recipe is the same as a recipe I have had for 15 years, with the execption of the garlic cloves and cayenne pepper. Both ingredients were good additions to my old recipe.
The family gave the grits a positive review, especially Nephew-In-Law Tim. Cheese grits are one of his favorites because his grandmother always made them.
I think Tim's endorsement is a pretty solid one!
