Vintage Thingie Thursday

My mother gifted me with this glass jar recently. It belonged to my paternal grandmother, who died in 1976. Granny kept flour in it.
I plan to use it to store tea bags.
What items do you use from your grandmother's kitchen?

I'm joining Coloradolady today for Vintage Thingie Thursday. If you click over there, you will see lots of neat items.

  6. I have nothing from either grandmother's kitchen, but I do have a cedar chest that belonged to one of them. It's been in my possession for 49 years!

  8. Nice keepsake. I am not sure what I have of my grandma's in my kitchen except for a small oil painting she did, which I adore.

  9. I am totally into this theme! I use a lot of my grandmother's stuff, but then again I use other people's grandmother's stuff too. I'm a vintage addict! ;-)

  10. I just found you from Julie's blog, Last Chance Ranch. I have that EXACT jar from my grandmother. I have it on top of my kitchen cabinets on display. It is special and BIG! Now I'm going to look at the site you mentioned that will show other vintage items. I just relocated from Oklahoma to Tennessee to live near the majority of our grandkids.
