A couple of years ago, a cousin gave me an egg timer.
You put this into the pan of water with the eggs.
As the water heats and boils,
the timer changes color
from the outside edges to the center.
It starts as red.
It ends as purple.
And you have perfectly hard-boiled eggs.
If you want your eggs cooked soft or medium,
simply wait until the purple color reaches those lines
and remove the pan from the flame.
This egg timer sat in a drawer for a year or so.
One day, I used it on a whim.
I've used it ever since.
How do you time your hard boiled eggs?
P.S. I was not asked to review or comment on this kitchen gadget.
